MOE Scholarship Notice for MBBS , BDS , BAMS , B Sc. Nursing , BNS , etc. for 2073

MoE Scholarship Notice 2073:Ministry of Education (MoE) , Government of Nepal invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates for the Full Scholarships, Partial and Paying Scholarship seats provided by MoE under Tribhuvan University and foreign grants to study MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSc. Nursing, BNS, B. Pharmacy, BPH, BSc. MLT and BSC. MIT for the academic session 2073/74

Eligibility for Application:

The applicants must have passed the IOM Entrance Examination conducted on 2073/05/25 in the respective course being applied for the Scholarship.

The applicants must have the fulfilled the minimum academic criteria to study the selected course as set by the respective university.

Scholarship Details:

55 % scholarship is allocated under General category while 45% is allocated for the students who have passed SLC from the Community Schools.

Under the General and Community Schools Category, 25% scholarship seats is allocated for backward groups, 33% for Female Category, 2% for handicapped, 27% for Janajati (Indigenous Inhabitant), 9% for Dalit Category and 4% for students from Rural and Backward areas.

Application Submission:

The online application must be submitted from 2073 Ashwin 14 to 2073 Kartik 05 from MOE’s official website.

Application Charges :

Students receiving “Online Registration Number” after submitting online form must present a Bank Voucher of NRs. 1000/- deposited in Rastriya Banijya Bank under MoE’s bank account at MoE Scholarship Division while taking the confirmation letter. The confirmation letter must be taken manually from the MoE Scholarship Branch.

कक्षा १२ को नतिजा प्रकाशित

भक्तपुर – कक्षा १२ को नतिजा आज सार्वजनिक भएको छ । राष्ट्रिय परीक्षा बोर्डले मानविकी, व्यवस्थापन शिक्षा लगायतका सबै संकायको नतिजा साँझ सार्वजनिक गरेको हो ।

प्रकाशित परीक्षाफल अन्तर्गत कूल परीक्षार्थीहरुमध्ये ४८ दशमलब १७ प्रतिशत परीक्षार्थी उत्तीर्ण भएको बोर्डले जनाएको छ ।

बोर्डका निमित्त परीक्षा नियन्त्रक सन्तोष अर्यालले नियमिततर्फ १ लाख ७५ हजार ५ सय ९३ परीक्षार्थीमध्ये कूल ८४ हजार ५ सय ९३ जना उत्तीर्ण भएको जानकारी दिए ।

त्यस्तै आंशिकतर्फ कूल १ लाख २३ हजार १ सय ८१ परीक्षार्थीहरुमध्ये ४८ हजार ७ सय ६३ अर्थात् ३९ दशमलब ५९ प्रतिशत विद्यार्थी उत्तीर्ण भएका छन् ।

निमित्त परीक्षा नियन्त्रक अर्यालका अनुसार जम्मा ७४ जना विद्यार्थीको परीक्षा रद्द गरिएको छ । जसमध्ये नियमिततर्फ ३८ जना र आंशिकतर्फ ३६ जना रहेका छन् ।

बोर्डका अनुसार गत वर्ष नियमिततर्फ ३९ दशमलब ९९ प्रतिशत र आंशिकतर्फ ३२ दशमलब ४९ प्रतिशत विद्यार्थी उत्तीर्ण भएकोमा यो वर्ष भने ८ दशमलब १८ प्रतिशतले नतिजामा सुधार भएको छ ।

बोर्डले कात्तिक ६ गते मौका परीक्षा गर्ने पनि जनाएको छ । त्यसका लागि असोज मसान्तभित्र फारम भरिसक्नुपर्ने छ ।

बोर्डले यसअघि नै विज्ञान संकायको नतिजा सार्वजनिक गरिसकेको छ ।

Important Definitions from "Volumetric Analysis" : HSEB Chemistry (Grade-XII)

1. MOLARITY (M)
The number of moles (gram molecular weight) of solute present in 1 litre of solution is known as molarity of solution and the solution prepared is known as molar solution.

2. DECIMOLAR SOLUTION (M/10)
A solution containing 1/10th mole of solute dissolved in one litre of solution is known as decimolar solution.

3. NORMALITY (N)
The number of gram equivalent of solute present in one litre of solution is known as normality of solution.

4. NORMALITY FACTOR (f)
The normality factor is defined as the ratio of actual weight of substance taken to the theoritical weight of substance to be taken.

5. TITRATION
The process of determining the strength of unknown solution by finding the exact volume of it required to react completely with given volume of standard solution is called titration. Titration can be classified into following types :
I) Acid-base or neutralization titration
II) Oxidation-reduction or redox titration
III) Precipitation titration
IV) Complexometric titration

6. END POINT
The stage during the titration which shows the completion of the reaction or shows that the reaction is just completed as indicated by indicator is known as end point.

7. EQUIVALENCE POINT (THEORITICAL END POINT)
The stage during the titration at which exactly equivalent amount of titrant is added to titrand to get end point is known as equivalence point. But in practice, small difference occurs between equivalent point and end point which is known as titration error.

8. ACIDITY OF BASE
The number of replacable hydroxyl ion present in one mole of base is called acidity of base.

9. BASICITY OF ACID
The number of replacable hydrogen ion present in one mole of acid is called basicity of acid.

10. REDOX TITRATION
A titration which involves the oxidation and reduction reaction i.e. redox reaction is called redox titration.

Darwinism or Theory of Natural Selection : HSEB Biology (Grade-XI)

Charles Darwin

Charles Robert Darwin was a great naturalist and philosopher of England. At the age of about 20, he got an opportubity to have a voyage of exploration on a famous ship Beagle in 1831. During his expedition, Darwin spent five years for extensive study of nature and collected alot of data on variation. After returning back in 1936, he compiled all these data and published his monumental work on the Origin of Species by Natural Selection in the book "Origin of Species" in 1839. This theory was popularly known as Theory of Natural Selection or Darwinism.

Facts of Darwinism
Darwinism is based on several facts and observations which are as follows :

1. Enormous fertility or Over production
2. Struggle for Existence
3. Natural Selection (Survival of the fittest)
4. Variation and heredity
5. Origin of species

Criticism or Objections to Darwinism
Darwin's theory of natural selection was so reasonable and well supported that most of the biologists soon accepted it. But some objections raised by other scientists are enumerated as follows :

1. It did not explain the effect of use and disuse and the presence of vestigial organs.
2. He did not differentiate between somatic and germinal variations.
3. Darwinism explained the survival of the fittest but not the arrival of the fittest.
4. Darwin indirectly accept the Lamarckian theory of inheritance of acquired characters.
5. The pangenesis theory of Darwin was kept in dark.
6. He didn't explain the causes of variation. He said that continuous variation are mainly responsible for the evolution which is not true.
7. Darwin did not describe about over specialization of certain organs which may lead to the extinction of organisms.
